Training starts with the exam, not with random lessons.

প্রস্তুতি শুরু হয় আপনার লক্ষ্য পরীক্ষা থেকে।

Different certificates test different things. DELF B2 does not feel like TEF Canada. JLPT does not test speaking, while JFT-Basic focuses on practical communication. IELTS Writing needs a different system from Goethe B1 writing. Shield begins by identifying the exact exam, level and purpose.

Arabic (MSA)

Unlike French or German, Arabic does not have one single worldwide government exam used for every purpose. ACTFL proficiency assessments are used by many institutions, while universities and employers may use their own Arabic tests.

ACTFL assessments are arranged through authorised testing services, often remotely or through institutions. University-specific exams follow that institution’s own venue and rules.

There is no single worldwide Quranic Arabic certificate equivalent to IELTS or DELF. Requirements depend on the institution and may test reading, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, recitation or tajwid.

In Bangladesh, the Confucius Institute at the University of Dhaka has published multiple 2026 paper-based HSK test notices. Other authorised HSK/HSKK centres may operate by session; the official Chinese Test Service centre finder should be checked before registration.

Unlike French or German, Arabic does not have one single worldwide government exam used for every purpose. ACTFL proficiency assessments are used by many institutions, while universities and employers may use their own Arabic tests.

Where: ACTFL assessments are arranged through authorised testing services, often remotely or through institutions. University-specific exams follow that institution’s own venue and rules.

Where is the exam held? Goethe-Institut Bangladesh in Dhaka conducts Goethe exams from A1 to C2 and lists TestDaF for students. telc and ÖSD are taken at authorised centres where available.

🇯🇵 Japanese — Exam Route

JLPT N5–N1 • JFT-Basic

Who is it for? Students, professionals, Japan-bound workers and anyone who needs recognised Japanese proficiency.

Why this exam? JLPT is the best-known Japanese certification, progressing from N5 to N1. JFT-Basic measures practical Japanese for everyday life and is used for specified work/residence pathways such as Specified Skilled Worker requirements.

Where is the exam held? The official JLPT list shows Dhaka as a 2026 test city with JUAAB as the local host institution, with July and December sessions. JFT-Basic is computer-based and offered at authorised Prometric test centres in participating countries.

TOPIK I • TOPIK II • EPS-TOPIK

Who is it for? University applicants, scholarship candidates, Korea-bound professionals and workers under the Employment Permit System.

Why this exam? TOPIK measures general Korean proficiency for academic and professional use. EPS-TOPIK is a separate employment-focused test for foreign job seekers under Korea’s EPS system and concentrates on practical language, reading and listening.

Where is the exam held? The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bangladesh announced the 108th TOPIK for 17 October 2026 with AIUB as the expected venue. EPS-TOPIK follows HRD Korea and Bangladesh sending-agency schedules; dates and eligibility are programme-specific.

Shield preparation: TOPIK training covers vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading and TOPIK II writing. Who is it for? Applicants who need European Portuguese certification for Portugal or Brazilian Portuguese certification for Brazil.

Which German exam should I prepare for? / কোন German exam-এর প্রস্তুতি নেব?

It depends on your purpose. Goethe-Zertifikat is common across A1–C2, while TestDaF is especially relevant to university study in Germany. Some institutions may ask for telc or ÖSD. Shield first identifies the exact certificate and level you need.
