The required level is B1. INLL states that the listening-comprehension test is carried out on a tablet and has a duration of about 35 minutes.
INLL lists criteria including repertoire, fluency, clarity, use of grammatical structures, coherence, ability to be understood and interactivity.
Luxembourg government guidance gives a specific pass rule for the nationality-language test. This is more precise than simply saying “A2 + B1”.
A speaking score below 50% can be compensated by the listening result if the arithmetic average of the two test scores, rounded according to the official rule, reaches at least 50% of the final score.
