Turkish Geniş Zaman Rules
Remove -mak / -mek: yapmak → yap-, gelmek → gel-. The final vowel controls harmony.
Common markers are -r, -ar/-er, -ır/-ir/-ur/-ür. Many frequent verbs must be learned with their aorist form: gel-ir, yap-ar, oku-r.
ben: -(I)m • sen: -sIn • o: no ending • biz: -(I)z • siz: -sInIz • onlar: -lAr.
ı/i/u/ü and a/e change according to the last vowel: yaparım, gelirim, okurum, görürüm.
Some stems change before a vowel: gitmek → gider, etmek → eder. These are shown as complete learned forms.
