Course Description

This course targets students who have been exposed to Arabic through Qur’anic or related teachings, or have studied in any institute but have a limited understanding of the function and structure of the language. Step-by-step coverage builds reading & writing: sound system, alphabet, and core grammar.

Listening & speaking are developed through Qur’ānic words, phrases, and texts (including suras) plus tutor materials. Audio/visual aids are used to strengthen skills.

Madinah Arabic Course Outline

Introduction to Arabic

  • Arabic sound system; drills for distinctive sounds
  • Recognize letters (isolate form) & handwriting (isolate)
  • Vowel system (short/long) and writing relationship
  • Joined forms; sukūn; tashdīd
  • Sun & moon letters; alif maqṣūra; hamza

Exploring Grammar

  • Noun gender & adjective agreement; definite article
  • Questions/answers; prepositions & conjunctions
  • Pronouns (singular & attached); dual forms
  • Sound/broken plurals; demonstratives (sg/dual/pl)
  • Numbers 1–10; simple dialogues; topic vocabulary

Qur’anic Arabic Course Pricing

Beginner Levels — Level 1 & Level 2
Level 1 Foundations
Duration: 4 months (2 classes/week)
Class Hours: 50 hrs · Home Task: 80 hrs
Focus: Script, Tajwīd basics, short vowels, noun–adjective, frequent Qur’ānic words
Outcome: Read short phrases; identify sun/moon letters; translate basic āyāt word-by-word

Level 2 Grammar Start
Duration: 4 months (2 classes/week)
Class Hours: 50 hrs · Home Task: 90 hrs
Focus: Definite article, pronouns, prepositions, singular/dual/plural, numbers 1–10, simple iʿrāb
Outcome: Understand short verses; form nominal sentences; translate beginner passages

Intermediate Levels — Level 3 & Level 4
Level 3 Naḥw & Ṣarf I
Duration: 4 months (3 classes/week)
Class Hours: 72 hrs · Home Task: 110 hrs
Focus: Nominal/verbal sentences, tenses, verb patterns, iḍāfa, adjective agreement
Outcome: Translate short passages; parse common structures; gloss selected āyāt
Fee: ৳26,500
Level 4 Naḥw & Ṣarf II
Duration: 4 months (3 classes/week)
Class Hours: 80 hrs · Home Task: 130 hrs
Focus: Advanced patterns, particles, attached pronouns, emphasis, cohesion devices
Outcome: Analyze longer passages; structured translations; basic tafsīr terminology
Fee: ৳28,500
